Celcon blocks have been value engineered to combine strength, high thermal performance, good acoustic and fire properties, whilst retaining the lightweight characteristics of aircrete. Manufactured to a compressive strength in excess of 4N/m m², Celcon Standard can be used to meet the structural performance criteria of most houses up to three stories. Their inherent thermal properties provide a significant contribution to the overall energy conservation of a building. All Celcon blocks less than 275mm thick meet the CONIAC manual handling requirements for health and safety. Celcon blocks up to 150mm thick are a simple one hand lift improving site productivity and reducing the risk of repetitive strain problems. Identifying Celcon Standard blocks:The Standard Celcon block is manufactured at all three of Celcon's factories. It is identified by its distinctive V-Key which runs across the full face of the block as shown.
