The Facom 980 straight blade universal shears has 2 opening positions, the blade opening from 29 to 36 mm and the handle opening from 77 to 102 mm. Non-slip bi-material grips offer increased comfort and the shears lock in the closed postion for safety. A slightly serrated blade prevents any risk of slippage.
The shears will cut through cardboard, rubber, PVC and leather up to 5 mm thick; thin sheet steel 0.5 mm thick and aluminium sheet up to 1 mm thick. electric cables up to 2.5 mm in diameter, hoses, tubes, insulating foam, etc.
