Installing A Damp Proof Membrane
1) If you are installing your damp proofing membrane after a damp problem or you are just adding as an initial prevention method start by removing the old plaster work and bring back the local area to its original masonry.
2) Cut the damp proofing membrane to size
3) Place your damp proofing membrane on the wall whilst folding around the corners
4) Fix the membrane in place with special membrane fixing plugs once you have ensured a tight fit and corners are folded.
5) Seal all joints and with damp proofing tape
