The National Apprentice week is a national five day celebration highlighting the benefits that an apprentice can bring to both the employer and the apprentice.

Building Supplies Online are pleased to be supporing National Apprentice week as our first apprentice, Jack Harper, approaches his six months anniversary.

Each day this week we will be taking part in the social media challenge #BlazeATrail where we will be sharing insights, via our Twitter and on Wednesday Jack will be taking part in the #askanapprentice Twitter take over day.

As a company keen to invest in developing people, the Digitial Marketing Apprenticeship program seemed a perfect fit for us as we continue to expand our marketing team.

From our initial enquiries into how the scheme worked to Jack joining us, we have had fantastic support from WCG, our apprenticeship provider.

Jack has settled in well and is a valuable member of our team already. His skills are constantly developing with a combination of in-house training and college based training.

In his own words, Jack says "Marketing has always been an interest of mine but now it is becoming a passion. "

We are looking forward to Jack developing his career with us.
