Description

The steel in the Lindab Round Pipe Connector 75mm Painted Dark Red is less heavy than cast iron, easier to work with than aluminium and less likely to crack or move than rigid plastic.

As well as these characteristics it also has the lowest carbon footprint of all those materials when measured across the whole lifetime of the product.  The round pipe connector can attribute its seventy or more years of long service life to the treatment of the steel which is first coated in a self-repairing layer of zinc, followed by an anti-corrosion passivation layer, then a primer and finally a polyester paint top coat.
