The Calder Lead Roofing Wood Core Roll (50mm x 2.4m Treated) Standard is a wood roll essential for jointing bays of lead roofing. This aesthetically pleasing product is perfect for lead cladding where the appearance of a joint is preferred and is additionally suitable for steeply pitched roofs. The wood roll allows the lead sheet and flashing to contract and expand. Furthermore the Calder Lead Roofing Wood Core Roll (50mm x 2.4m Treated) Standard has a cleverly designed base which is undercut in order to prevent wind-lift. The specially pre-treated wood protects and prevents against the occurrence of rot. The Calder Lead Roofing Wood Core Roll (50mm x 2.4m Treated) Standard is strong and sturdy and damage under pressure is unlikely. The product is safer than a hollow core and easy to transport. The wood roll can additionally be used for traditional metal roofing. Please note underlay or building paper is required when fitting the wood roll.

The wood rolls are treated and shaped as shown. The undercut to the base of the roll is designed to prevent wind lift.
