The OPTIM-R E Inverted Roofing System is perfect for projects that require the lowest U-value or the thinnest roof build-up. It is ideal for where there is little space for installing new roof insulation. OPTIM-R E is encapsulated in a coating for increased robustness and easier handling on-site. The vacuum insulation panels are accompanied by rigid extruded polystyrene insulation infill panels which can be cut to fit around problem areas such as roof lights or ventilator kerbs.

OPTIM-R E panels are rigid vacuum insulation panels with a microporous core which is evacuated, encased and sealed in a thin, gas-tight envelope. OPTIM-R E panels are encapsulated in a coating for increased robustness and easier handling on-site.

The vacuum insulation panels are accompanied by rigid extruded polystyrene insulation strips. They can be used where the remaining dimension to infill is below 300 mm or can be cut to fit around problem areas such as roof lights, ventilator kerbs or drainage gutters.

OPTIM-R E panels achieve a thermal conductivity of 0.008 W/mK for panel sizes:

  • 600 x 400 mm
  • 600 x 600 mm
  • 1200 x 400 mm
  • 1200 x 600 mm

OPTIM-R E panels achieve a thermal conductivity of 0.009 W/mK for panel size:

  • 1200 x 300 mm

NB: For inverted roofing applications, a design value thermal conductivity should be used. See the product brochure for further details.
