Velux Active Indoor Climate Control Package

If you're looking for a great way to monitor and control the temperature, CO² levels and humidity of your home, then the Velux Active Indoor Climate Control Package is a convenient solution. To keep these levels at a desirable level, this control package can automatically open and close your other VELUX INTEGRA® products such as roof windows, blinds and shutters.

If you're worried about the safety of your home, it comes installed with a switch to close your windows. This package can be controlled from your phone with the use of the VELUX ACTIVE app and as it links up with the Apple HomeKit®, you can even use voice control.

This Velux Active Indoor Climate Control Package comes with an indoor climate sensor, a departure switch & a VELUX ACTIVE gateway which works to define the data of the climate sensors and open or close your windows depending on the climate measurements.

VELUX has teamed up with ground-breaking smart home technology company Netatmo, to develop a brand-new state-of-the-art indoor climate solution called VELUX ACTIVE. The system ensures a healthier indoor climate by automatically ventilating two-to-three times daily to remove stale, harmful air.

Designed to be quick and easy to install and work with all VELUX INTEGRA® products, VELUX ACTIVE can be used to control and operate electric or solar roof windows, blinds and shutters. If you already own a VELUX INTEGRA® product, this VELUX ACTIVE kit comes with everything you will need to install the system yourself.

If you have more than one room in your home with VELUX INTEGRA® products, additional sensors can be purchased. Departure switches can also be purchased if you require a number of switches for each exit door.

How does the VELUX ACTIVE system work?

Smart sensors positioned inside your home will be able to monitor the temperature, humidity and CO2 levels, allowing for the VELUX ACTIVE system to instinctively open and close your VELUX INTEGRA® products.

An added security feature included in this system is the VELUX ACTIVE departure switch. Tap this switch on your way out of the house and the system will automatically close your VELUX INTEGRA® products for you. This feature will keep your windows secured in the ventilation position to ensure security and peace of mind. With the VELUX ACTIVE app, you can operate your VELUX INTEGRA® products yourself from anywhere in the world – putting you in complete control at all times.

As well as the VELUX ACTIVE app, for complete convenience Apple HomeKit® compatibility lets you operate your VELUX INTEGRA® products with voice control in and around your home.

What is included in the VELUX ACTIVE KIX 300 Package?
