Product Information
Featuring sound-reduction properties, BAL Single Part Fastflex is highly flexible and can also be utilised as isolating, anti-fracture underlay for ceramic tiles. Recommended for areas subject to limited movement and vibration, it is water/frost resistant and is suitable for fixing ceramics, porcelain and vitrified tiles, mosaics, slate and certain natural stones including marble, terrazzo in dry or wet interior and exterior environments.
USE FOR:
Most types of FLOOR tiles including:
- Ceramics
- Porcelain and fully vitrified tiles
- Mosaics
- Natural Stone including marble
- Slate
Most substrates including:
- Asphalt (suitable grade e.g. flooring)
- Concrete, cement: sand screeds and rendering
- Existing vinyl tiles, unglazed ceramic tiles, quarry tiles, terrazzo and natural stone
- Fibre reinforced cement boards and lightweight tile backer boards
- Tongued and grooved floorboards
- Underfloor heating
Other substrates that may be suitable include:
Single layers of chip / ply, floating timber floors, Steel, GRP, Epoxy coatings and glazed tiles
