The Calder Lead Roofing Wood Core Roll (50mm x 2.4m Treated) Standard is an aesthetically pleasing wood roll necessary for jointing bays of lead roofing. This product is suitable for steeply pitched roofs or lead cladding where the appearance of a joint is favoured. It allows for the contraction and expansion of lead sheet flashing. In addition to this the Calder Lead Roofing Wood Core Roll (50mm x 2.4m Treated) Standard has a base specifically undercut to help form a wind-lift resistant joist. This is thanks to the undercut and overall design of the base.

The wood is specially treated to prevent rot and is shaped as shown in the product photo. The Calder Lead Roofing Wood Core Roll (50mm x 2.4m Treated) Standard is easy to transport, unlikely to get damaged under pressure, safer than a hollow core and can be used for traditional metal roofing. Please note wood rolls require fitting over underlay or building paper.
